Description
England's reputation for producing exceptional sparkling wine has soared in the last two decades and we are delighted to be able to support this trend with a superb Brut and rosé from the heart of Windsor Great Park. There was, in fact, a vineyard in the Park in the 1100s, under King Henry I. Nine centuries later, in 2010, Tony Laithwaite discovered a 3-hectare, south-facing plot there, with all the attributes for a top-class vineyard - gentle breezes, a moderate climate, well drained soils. We gained permission to plant Champagne's classic varieties and harvested our first grapes in 2013. The wines have received worldwide praise. From an award-winning winemaker, this rosé has delicious berry fruit, with a fine mineral-fresh edge.
