A Turbo Boost AMP Section with Dedicated Power Supply The DC06 utilizes synchronous DC-DC converter, low noise charge pump, and LDO to build an independent power supply for the AMP section. This allows the AMP section to work to its full potential, significantly boosting the output power. NDK Femtosecond Oscillator The DC06 is equipped with an NDK femtosecond oscillator, which iBasso have pioneered in dongles. The NDK femtosecond oscillator can effectively reduce phase noise and provide a more accurate clock reference for the DAC MQA 16x Hardware MQA Rendering MQA folds a high-resolution file to make it small enough to stream. With Tidal, and other supporting MQA playback software, the DC06 supports MQA 16X unfolding (2X is unfolded by software and 8X is hardware rendering by the DAC). With the MQA certificated software and MQA files, you can enjoy MQA audio playback with ease by utilizing plug and play. Detachable Cable Meets A Wide Range of Usage Scenarios The DC06 has a detachable cable design. Changing to a terminal between USB C and lightning is now possible. It also has both 3.5mm single-ended output and 4.4mm balanced output to serve your needs. Furthermore, the DC06 adopts a standard UAC2.0 USB receiver. It is compatible with most Android smartphones and tablets, and can be plug-and-play on Mac, Win 10, and Win11 computers to be used as a USB sound card. The DC06 can be used with smartphones and computers, whether you are listening to music, watching movies, or playing games, you will have a full sense of immersion and enjoy the endless fun brought by excellent sound! With A Dedicated APP, The DC06 Achieves 64-step Hardware Volume Windows 10 and Android 5.0 and above support the UAC2.0 protocol by default. However, for compatibility reasons, Android Smartphone manufacturers still use SRC on audio output. When DC06 is connected, the maximum volume is achieved by default, and the software algorithm of the device is used to reduce the volume. The software algorithm can reduce the volume but cannot reduce the noise floor. Therefore, iBasso developed a UAC2.0 volume controller App to achieve 64-step hardware volume control, effectively reducing the noise floor while achieving superior audio performance. Operation Instructions: The DC06 can be plug-and-play on Android Smartphones and tablets with Android 5.1 and above without installing drivers or third-party APPs (due to the Android device's system or hardware limitation, there may be a low compatibility issue with some smartphones or tablets.). On some Android devices, it may be necessary to manually turn on the OTG function in the system settings. The DC06 uses a standard UAC 2.0 USB receiver chipset for plug-and-play on Mac and Win10 computers. For WinXP, Win7, and Win8 systems, please download driver. Once properly installed, it can be used as a USB sound card. There is no built-in battery so the DC06 receives its power through the USB interface from the master device. The actual power consumption is related to the operation and the device system. Because DC06 has dual DAC chips, it is normal for the DC06 to get warm during use.
