Argentina's Malbec has taken the world by storm. While most come from Mendoza, Arquero hails from San Juan in the northwest. Vineyards are planted high, around 700 metres, under clear skies, providing optimal conditions for the vines. Despite producing delicious wines, the region's lack of marketing muscle means they remain something of a secret.
