This is a rich, gorgeously complex and toasty bubbly, exclusive to our list. It's from an award-winning team, who have been raking in the prizes for over the last two decades. For Avalonia, they've used grapes from two exceptional estates in southern England. In one, the superb chalk and gravel soils and height of the small vineyard lend a real minerality to the wine, while the other, sited above a body of water on a well-drained slope, adds fruit and citrus.
