Founded in 1849 Pol Roger is regarded as one of the top Champagne houses, renowned for wines of great finesse and style. Winston Churchill was a great ambassador for the brand and there's a special cuvée named after him. He was one of their most loyal customers, and even named a winning racehorse after Odette Pol-Roger, the wife of Jacques Pol-Roger, head of the firm.
