Caroline and Pierre Bécot are the fourth generation of the family to be proud owners of the Premier Grand Cru Classé Saint-Emilion property Château Beau-Séjour Bécot. In 2015 they added the 9-hectare vineyard château of Bernon Bécot to their family estate. It lies on the highest clay-limestone plateau of Puisseguin, a satellite appellation of Saint-Emilion itself. There they work sustainably in the vineyard, working hand in hand with nature to bring out the best in the vines, which are nearly all Merlot, with just a little Cabernet Franc.
