Founded in 1857 by Jesuit monks, Château Ksara is Lebanon's oldest and most iconic winery, a beacon of continuity in a region where winemaking has often been challenging. Their Merwah 2023 showcases an indigenous grape from 60-year-old vines in terraced vineyards above Douma at 1,500-1,600m. Altitude, slate soils and mountain breezes lend freshness and character.
