The vineyards of the Chateau Sérilhan lie in the distinguished region of Saint-Estèphe on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, close to the famous Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Calon Ségur. The modern Château was bought by Louis Merlet in 1983 and managed by his children until 2002. In 2003, his grandson, Didier Marcelis, decided to return to his winemaking roots, taking over his grandparents' winery and enacting changes to lift the estate to the peak of its category. He extended its vineyards, invested heavily in state-of-the-art technology and implemented artisanal winemaking methods, such as hand-picking in the vineyard, vinification by plot and top-quality barrels for aging. By injecting passion, enthusiasm and a good dose of modernity into the estate, it has thrived over the past 10 years. Explore a well structured wine with an expressive bouquet of black fruits, light oak and delicious fruity and menthol flavours.
