Description
We sent our award-winning buying team all around the world on an exciting mission: to curate a new collection showcasing the best examples of key regions, styles and grape varieties - at great prices. Historically an old cooperative, the winery was purchased by Badet Clement in 2014 with the aim to transform it into a state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Fast forward to today, and it's home to some of the best Viognier in the heart of the Corbieres region. A quarter of the grapes come from the north shores of the Étang de Thau lagoon, where sea breezes cool the grapes and allow ripening to take place slowly and gradually. And all this just means even more flavour to your glass. It's aged for several months on its lees to develop texture and complexity, and a small proportion is aged in oak to add body and spicy notes. Its ripe flavours of stone fruits, nougat and pastry notes make it a great pairing for creamy dishes. Viognier lovers, this is one to try.
