Description
In the pretty village of Sainte-Cécile-Les-Vignes lies a small winery, producing gems from the southern Rhône. The team works with growers in nearly all the prime appellations nearby, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Most of the vignerons have just a few rows of vines, but nurture them like children, harvesting the grapes and bringing them to the cellar with enormous pride. Winemaker at the cellar, Jean-Marc Pradinas, blended this luscious red from prime grapes. Protagonist Grenache packs in jammy raspberry fruit, while Syrah adds peppery spice and blackberry, and Mourvèdre a dark chocolaty flourish. Concentration is exceptional, thanks in part to the vintage. Irresistible now or cellar. Decant early and enjoy in big glasses so it opens out.
