Description
Coopers has a rich heritage that began in 1862 when Thomas Cooper started a small brewery using an old Yorkshire family recipe, in Adelaide, South Australia. This legacy has continued with the Cooper family for over 162 years, seeing Coopers grow from a niche South Australian beer to an iconic Australian favourite. Four simple ingredients are used to brew Coopers beers - malt, hops, water and yeast. Some brewers use maize, sugar, even rice, but for Coopers, all malt is the only way to go. Beyond the incredible colour, flavour and aroma it produces, all malt brewing removes the need to add sugars to the beers, keeping them as pure and healthy as possible. This pale ale has a medium aroma of malt, with hints of floral, grassy hops and mild, woody yeast notes. Its strong malt character is balanced with bitterness on the finish. A great pairing for sushi, white fish and spicy Thai dishes.
