Thierry Ferlay is the excellent winemaker at Cellier des Princes - the only cooperative in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. They work with growers throughout the southern Rhône to make terrific, award-winning wines from many of its prized villages. Situated on the Dentelles de Montmirail foothills, Vacqueyras is one of the Rhône's superior appellations, granted AOC in 1990. Over 90% of its wines are red, with a little rosé and white, the latter made from native grapes Grenache Blanc, plus Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Clairette.
