Description
Domaine des Sénéchaux is among the region's oldest wineries. With vines planted here since the XIV century, it's a historic producer of some of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's greatest wines. It gets its name from one of the estate's principal plots, located in the "Bois Sénéchaux" neighbourhood - where the Sénéchaux representatives of the King's council used to meet. For this wine, Syrah and Mourvèdre are aged for a year in barrel, whilst Grenache is aged in small vats before blending.
