Description
Established in 1859, Domaine Jean Chartron owns 13 hectares of vineyards in prized Puligny-Montrachet and neighbouring villages, including a number of Premier and Grand Cru vineyards such as Chevalier-Montrachet. Montmorin is a 3-hectare plot in Rully further south in the Côte Châlonnaise, a region known for its impressive value. Critic William Kelley calls this estate, "an excellent source of pure and precise Puligny that deserves more recognition".
