Joseph Voillot is a superb, sixth-generation family estate that is meticulous in producing wines which speak clearly of fruit and terroir, while avoiding layers of showy new oak. Winemaker today is Joseph's son-in-law Jean-Pierre Charlot. Expert Michel Bettane wrote, "Jean-Pierre Charlot has vinified some of the finest and most balanced wines of Volnay and Pommard."
