The Mas family has been growing grapes in the Languedoc since 1892. Jean-Claude is the fourth generation, and the first to start producing wine himself. Having grown up amongst the vines, Jean-Cluade takes his knowledge of traditional winemaking and combines it with innovative practices. His expertise saw Domaine Paul Mas awarded European Winery of the Year 2020 by Wine Enthusiast. This GSM - a classic regional blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre - receives some gentle oak ageing. And the result is a vibrant red that showcases Jean-Claude's skill for the art of blending. It's complex, with bold notes of blackberry and cherry, plus hints of cocoa, spice and liquorice. Velvety tannins make it a versatile wine, so try it with a variety of tapas dishes.
