DYACO MEDICAL REHABILITATION RECUMBENT BIKE SERIES 8.5R The Dyaco Medical Rehabilitation Recumbent Bike Series 8.5R places focus on enhancing hip and lower body joint mobility from a relaxed posture with full lumbar support. Because the patient is receiving the rehabilitation / physical therapy procedure from a comfortable position the rehabilitation process will be more effective and therefore recovery time should be reduced. The bikes Bi-Directional Resistance is a unique feature of Dyaco Medical bikes. This function allows for pedalling in both forward and reverse directions, under a smooth magnetic resistance, for greater muscle and joint involvement. The Recumbent 8.5R introduces groundbreaking neurological programmes such as Symmetry, a programme that assess and quantifies the balance of power between the left and right leg throughout the rotation and Power Distribution shown in watts, all of which contributes further to an accelerated recovery. The 8.5R provides a fully adjustable and removable seat for easy wheelchair access. The 25.5 cm (10") Touch Screen console is on a 360 degree Articulating Arm and features the Beacon. The Beacon is atop of the console and efficiently assesses exercise intensity, providing a quick visual signal to physical therapists regarding their patients' progress.The Auto Brake System puts user safety at the forefront. The Auto Brake uses advanced sensing technology and software, that automatically halts the flywheel when it detects the user's attempt to stop pedalling. It is achieved by applying a braking force to eliminate pedal inertia but as an added layer of safety there is a mechanical brake lever that engages by simply pressing down. The Wi-Fi console can connect to Dyaco Insight, two Bluetooth channels for wireless heart rate devices and third-party apps, as well as ANT+ compatibility. The console also offers versatile connectivity options, including hardwired connections for data streaming to PCs and links to external devices like cardiac stress testing systems.
