Description
Lying within one of 18 Provence Grands Crus Classés, this fine Provence property takes its name from the area, which appeared on a mid-18th century map as Le Galoupe. The estate was founded 200 years ago and has little changed apart from the planting of vines alongside holm oaks, stone pines, rosemary, lavender and parasol pines. Since new owners took over in 2019, it has focused on preserving rare heritage species and the delicate ecosystem. Hence their conversion to organic viticulture and focus on biodiversity. G de Galoupet takes its grapes - Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah Tibouren and Rolle - from the estate, with a small portion from further north in Provence for freshness. A superb pink for seafood, chicken skewers or stuffed peppers.
