A small subregion of California's much-admired Napa Valley, Mount Vedeer has gained worldwide acclaim for its exceptional, long-lived wines. Many of them fetch well over £100 a bottle. There, Cabernet Sauvignon is king (accounting for 78% of its vineyards), a grape that features in this red, along with other Bordeaux 'friends'.
