Description
The L'Epiphanie series is all about getting the best wines in your glass at the very best prices. We've been working in Bordeaux for over 50 years and we've drawn on half a century's worth of goodwill to source this spectacular wine. It helps that our Bordeaux buyer and chief winemaker, Jean-Marc Sauboua, was born and bred there. Although we can't name the world-renowned château that made this wine, we can say if you bought a bottle of their first wine, you wouldn't get much change from £500. It really is a top name in Saint-Émilion and still family owned. 2023 is an appealing, ripe vintage, producing wines with lovely fruit and silky, rounded tannins. Firm, yet yielding; rich, yet balanced; the quality is evident. Open early and decant.
