The Bodytone Dual Leg Press/Hack Squat combo allows you to perform two exercises in a single machine. Its design works every muscle in the legs resulting in one of the most effective leg machines on the market. With the Bodytone Dual Leg Press/Hack Squat machine you can work quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, calves and adductors and to a lesser degree your core muscles. Foot placement can also alter muscle emphasis to focus on a particular muscle. You convert the Leg Press to a Hack squat by adjusting the back pad and platform. To perform a Hack Squat you pivot the back pad and then place your shoulders under the shoulder pads with your feet on the lower steel platform and perform a squat. For a Leg Press you reposition the pads which gives you an upper foot platform and this time you lie on your back and use your legs to push the weight away from you resulting in an oblique press. The seat and footplate are adjustable. The Bodytone Dual Leg Press/Hack Squat requires Olympic weight plates that slide onto the weight bars for resistance. The pads are made from thick comfortable foam, covered in imitation leather, which is anti-allergenic and easy to clean.
