Vinho Verde is a classic of northern Portugal, brought up to date by terrific winemakers like Anselmo Mendes. He first studied wine in 1987, bought his first estate in 1997 and by 1998 had been made Winemaker of the Year. Since then, he's won numerous accolades and shown his terrific passion for both innovation and tradition.
