The story of the Rebellion Brewery starts with two friends, Tim Coombes and Mark Gloyens. They attended school together in Marlow at a time when the sweet malt aromas from the local Wethered Brewery were a constant reminder that Marlow was an active brewing town. When the brewery closed its doors in 1987, Tim and Mark set out on a mission to revive Marlow's brewing tradition. And so Rebellion was born.
