Description
Domaine Watson is a small Burgundy property born 30 years ago from the passion of Chris Watson (father of Alex and Emma Watson). He has seven vineyards, divided between Chablis and its red wine neighbour, Irancy. All the Chardonnay, grown on south-facing slopes, is reserved for the family's crisp, citrusy white, while the pomace of the Grand Cru grapes is upcycled for the distillation of the fine Renais gin. It's a distinctive, elegant spirit, inspired by its Burgundian origins, but made in England. The grapes are distilled with kimmeridgian stone to lend a pronounced minerality to its classic hints of juniper, coriander, cubeb and lime. These precious bottles are mindfully delivered to you in sustainable mushroom packaging (not edible!).
