Description
In 2006 Sacha Lichine bought this now legendary Provence estate with one aim: to produce the greatest rosé in the world. To many he has done just that - first with Whispering Angel and now, even finer, his Rock Angel. The historic estate, just NE of St Tropez, dates back to the 11th century. Lichine introduced new techniques both in the vineyards and the cellar, working meticulously with the team at every stage. Grenache, plus Cinsault, Vermentino, Syrah and Tibouren from ancient vines are blended to create a wine that has amazed the critics, while a little gentle oak lends a touch of creaminess. More structured than its sibling, beautifully aromatic Rock Angel has an elegance similar to finest Sancerre. A superb rosé to serve with seafood.
