Description
William Fèvre is one of the biggest names in Burgundy. Synonymous with top-quality Chablis, the domaine began in 1959 when William Fèvre, the family of which had lived in the region for over 250 years, declared his first crop. Today, his legacy lives on in the domaine's 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, all tended organically. He also boasts the largest holdings of Grand Cru sites in the appellation. Estate director is Didier Séguier, who was very optimistic about the quality of the 2023 vintage. Our Fine Wine buyer, Dan Curtis, described the wines he tasted there as "magnificent, and in some cases truly exciting ... true to Didier's famous slogan - 'Fevre make Chablis, not Chardonnay'."
