When I first started my business in the 1980s, I would frequent jumble sales for vintage pieces. I had a penchant for Harris Tweed jackets. Ones from the 1940s and 1950s were my favourite. Indestructible, but with a very scratchy feel and very thick fabric. Movement could be quite challenging. Our new check jacket is a super modern homage to those classics; this time round, though, the material is incredibly soft thanks to the addition of cashmere to the wool.
