Part of the initial release for the core range of the Meikle Toir brand, which is peated whisky distilled at The Glenallachie Distillery. This bottle in particular has been first matured in ex Bourbon casks before a period in Virgin oak Chinquapin Oak casks. Not a traditional oak to use, chinquapin is a sub species of Quercus Alba the industry standard American oak used for Bourbon American Whiskeys.
