Comté Tolosan is an ancient wine-producing region within South West France. The Romans were the first to discover its potential. They liked the hilly aspect, planted vines, and made some of their finest wines here. A few centuries ago, wines from Comté Tolosan were more highly rated than those of Bordeaux.
